Hey all,
Currently doing a PoC with Teams Direct Routing and wondering how everyone is creating contacts for Reverse Number Lookup / inbound caller ID?
Our current phone system achieves this using a separate corporate directory but it looks like Teams wants an Exchange Online or Azure AD contact.
We've played around with Exchange contacts (in e164 format, with email address, not hidden from Exchange lists) and this works for a call to a direct routing number (from the second call onward). This does not work for auto attendants or call queues yet . I'm okay with creating the 10,000+ contacts for our org but ideally do not want them listed in the GAL.
Has anyone been able to achieve the above without listing the contacts in the GAL?
If you've ever looked up a phone number in Caller ID and wondered whose number it is, reverse phone lookup is for you. You can find out a person's name and address with a free reverse phone lookup or reverse phone directories available online. You can even find free cell phone number lookup with name no charge. I already tried, now it's your turn
