Your video game legacy dates back to 1989, when you became the Madden 22 coins center of attention at Tecmo Bowl. How was it to experience yourself in the past?
I'm still seeing myself as a player in the Tecmo Bowl. I still have this video game. I have the game in which to run it. But it's in a storage box stored somewhere. It's iconic. It makes me feel happy to hear grown men in their 40s saying"Hey, my friend and I got into the biggest conflict of our lives, because we each wanted to be in the Tecmo Bowl when we were young. Then our parents took the game, and my dad put the game in his tool cabinet. The game was unplayable for a whole month since the fight was too intense.' I hear that often. When I go to the sports memorabilia exhibitions, there are people who come up with that video game. They say, 'I still got the machine to play it on. My kids play it. My grandkids love it ... and everyone still argues about who is gonna become Bo Jackson.' Tecmo Bowl ... that was quite the technological marvel at the time. When you look at it today and it's like, 'Wow this is an antique.'
